The primary challenge of this project was the integration of ten new residential units into an existing high-end complex composed of 8 privately used houses, while simultaneously introducing additional parking capacity and social spaces without compromising spatial quality or site integrity.
Located in close proximity to the Bosphorus, the project required a sensitive architectural approach that would respect both the prestige of the surrounding neighborhood and the established character of the complex. The scope included the design of two contemporary villas, the restoration and integration of one historic wooden villa, and the development of a new apartment block.
The architectural language balances modern expression with contextual awareness. Clean volumes, carefully proportioned façades, and a restrained material palette were employed to ensure cohesion between new and existing structures. Particular attention was given to circulation, landscape integration, and privacy, preserving the exclusivity of the complex while enhancing its overall functionality.
