This interior design project focuses on the transformation of an existing wooden house situated within a dense forest landscape and characterized by a cold, icy climate. The design approach seeks to enhance the inherent character of the timber structure while introducing elements that foster a warm and inviting living environment.

Emphasis is placed on material continuity, tactile surfaces, and layered lighting to counterbalance the harshness of the surrounding climate. Natural textures, warm-toned finishes, and carefully curated furnishings contribute to an atmosphere of comfort and intimacy, reinforcing the sense of refuge within the forest setting.

The project respects the authenticity of the original wooden architecture while refining the interior to respond sensitively to its environmental context. Through thoughtful spatial organization and a cohesive material palette, the residence achieves a harmonious balance between rustic character and contemporary comfort, creating a welcoming retreat throughout all seasons.
